Welcome to the 4th Edition of Jule Milonga in Oslo! ✨

With over 180 dancers from Norway and abroad, Jule Milonga has become a beloved Oslo tango tradition!

In 2026, we are delighted to present an exclusive artistic fusion featuring Duo Julie & Andreas together with Gianina Druta!

Our resident TDJ El Ingeniero will keep the dance floor alive with his magical selection of tango music on vinyl.

🎶 About Julie & Andreas

Julie & Andreas combine the rare instrumental pairing of harp and bandoneon to create a genre-defying sound, developed through nearly 300 concerts in 17 countries.

Both hold master’s degrees in tango music from Rotterdam, a background that shaped their acclaimed debut album, With the Sky in Our Hands, which received a standing ovation at its premiere at Argentina’s leading tango festival.

Since 2019, they have been weaving their grandparents’ life stories into the trilogy ENE, establishing themselves as true musical pioneers. Their achievements include Second Prize and the Audience Award at the World Harp Competition (2022), as well as a performance at the Festival Mundial del Arpa in Paraguay (2024).

Andreas also performs with the tango quartet SolTango, while Julie plays with Terje Isungset’s Ice Quartet. Both are featured on the Latin Grammy-nominated album Tango Cosmopolita.

🎤 About Gianina Druta

Gianina Druta is a Romanian-born tango singer established in Oslo. She started to dance tango in 2017 and got soon engaged with the stories told by the lyrics of the songs which inspired her to start singing. Her musical background consists of singing pop-music and Romanian folklore in childhood and teenager years with participation at festival competitions and studio recordings in Romania. In 2023 she started to perform with the Oslo-based tango orchestra Tigertango, which marked her official debut as tango singer. Since 2025 she is the voice of the Argentinian tango-punk band El Cachivache Quinteto which tours in Europe and US, and has participated already in two of the latest albums of the group: Dance me to the end of noise and California sessions.

Exquisite tango taste, vinyl sound and profound sense of the dance floor- it hard to explain the beauty of milonga created by TDJ El Ingeniero, you just need to dance to feel it. And we have best sound system for you to enjoy vinyls sound at its best.

Anders about his passion for vinyl:

I started collecting tango CDs about 12 years ago, and the search for the best sound quality quickly took me to Japanese releases. At online auctions in Japan, I saw that vinyl was also available, and the collector in me was hooked.
Only when I came across an almost complete D’Arienzo collection from CTA, and in addition got a record of Biagi waltzes from Argentina, was I ready for a full evening. It started little by little at Kampen, and after an after-party at Crazy Chicken, I got an assignment abroad, and the vinyl records have since been on tour around Europe, at irregular intervals.

Finger food, tea and coffee will be provided for our guests.

Our bar will offer wine, beer, sparkling wine and Fernet!

This year, Jule Milonga welcomes you to Dance Hub, an exciting new dance venue in Oslo!

With 200 m² of beautiful, high-quality parquet flooring, Dance Hub is a true paradise for dancers! A spacious dance floor, an elegant setting and a warm, welcoming atmosphere create the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening of Argentine tango.

All tickets include the concert, milonga and finger food.

REGULAR — NOK 790 per person (from 2 November)

50% refund in case of cancellation before 02.nov. After 02.nov not refundable.
