Wellcome to 2nd edition of Jule Milonga in Oslo!

This year we will have outstanding musicians playing for us and unique TDJ filling the dance floor with magic tango selection.

About Bandonegro:

Formed in 2010 Bandonegro is a world-class tango orchestra, among the most original and recognizable performers of this genre. The ensemble presents traditional Argentine tango, tango nuevo, and creates its own compositions with elements of jazz. The musicians constantly strive to discover and showcase the diverse facets of tango. They quickly developed their own musical language, encouraging listeners to experience the genre in a completely new light. Their extraordinary passion, fresh sound, and unique style that is perfect for dancing, captivate audiences as the band performs on stages around the world. Bandonegro has performed in over 30 countries on 4 continents, showcasing their music at the largest tango festivals and prestigious music venues. This year we have pleasure to enjoy their music at Jule Milonga.

About TDJ El Ingeniero (Anders):

Exquisite tango taste, vinyl sound and profound sense of the dance floor- it hard to explain the beauty of milonga created by TDJ El Ingeniero, you just need to dance to feel it.

Anders about his passion for vinyl:

I started collecting tango CDs about 11 years ago, and the search for the best sound quality quickly took me to Japanese releases. At online auctions in Japan, I saw that vinyl was also available, and the collector in me was hooked.
Only when I came across an almost complete D’Arienzo collection from CTA, and in addition got a record of Biagi waltzes from Argentina, was I ready for a full evening. It started little by little at Kampen, and after an after-party at Crazy Chicken, I got an assignment abroad, and the vinyl records have since been on tour around Europe, at irregular intervals.

19:20 doors open
20:00 – 22:15 intro concert + milonga with orquestra Bandonegro
22:15 – 01:00 milonga with vinyls. DJ El Ingeniero

Doors will be closed 20:00-20:30 for intro part of the concert, you are welcome to enter the venue before 20:00 or after 20:30

There will be finger food, tea and coffee offered for the guests.
